Currently, Google searches for “Disney VHS tapes for sale” and “VHS player” are up 20% from where they were just five years ago. Even comedian Pete Davidson is on board, admitting that he’s built a collection of over 10K VHS tapes since the pandemic. This is just another example of how people are looking to connect to a more tangible and tactile reality beyond their computers and smart devices.
