Study: Beach Sprawling Is Rude

If you’ve been to the beach this summer, you’ve probably noticed oversized canopies, tents, and cabanas. It turns out many people consider it rude, but they beach sprawl anyway. Beach.com revealed that 92-percent of Americans have admitted to beach sprawling. While a bunch of social media posts complain about the practice because it blocks the beach view and takes up a lot of space, some defend it. Now some Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland beaches have reportedly banned the practice with fines of up to $250.
