“Travel & Leisure” has just announced the winners of their 2025 World’s Best Awards. They highlight the top travel destinations, hotels, airlines and cities around the world and here in the U.S., based on annual reader surveys.
- For the 30th year, “Travel & Leisure” asked its global audience to rate their travel experiences and this year’s winners reflect some familiar favorites along with others making the list for the first time.
- A new city has claimed the title of Best U.S. City for the first time in 12 years, as Santa Fe, New Mexico, lands at number one.
- Mount Desert Island, Maine, reclaims the title of Best U.S. Island, which it previously held in 2010.
- Páros, Greece, has climbed its way up the rankings to earn the honor of Best Island in the World for the first time.
