Vintage Baseball Returns to Middletown!

Vintage baseball is coming back to Middletown Town Park on Sunday, June 29th at 2 PM! After how awesome the first festival was, the Middletown Maulers are taking the field again, this time going up against the Shiners Base Ball Club from Rockingham County.

It’s not your typical baseball game—this one’s played using the rules and vibes straight out of 1864. Super fun, kind of like stepping into a time machine. Bring a lawn chair, get comfy by the field, and soak up the good old-fashioned atmosphere.

Entry is by donation, and it all goes to support the Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation, which helps preserve local Civil War history and puts on cool educational programs.

There’ll be food and drinks from The Southern Market, and Josh Kirby from the Kirby on Sports podcast will be on the mic as the announcer. So, good eats, a bit of history, and a whole lot of fun.

It’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the community. More info’s at www.ccbf.us if you're curious!
