Finally, a runaway zebra that had become a bit of a celebrity in Tennessee is now safe and sound. Ed the zebra is back home with its owner after he was located in a pasture near an interstate over the weekend and captured. Officials used a drone and tranquilizer dart to track and subdue the animal before airlifting it by helicopter to safety. Ed went missing on May 31st and became quite the story as he eluded capture even after being spotted multiple times throughout the region, including in neighborhoods.
