- Nearly three-quarters (72%) agree that being able to enjoy these things is a lot easier now.
- For 82%, small luxuries have a positive impact on their mood, so making an effort to enjoy them is worth it.
- The most common type of luxurious indulgence is food (39%), with dessert being the most luxurious thing you can eat.
- Half (51%) of respondents say a decadent taste is what makes food feel more luxurious, followed by the sensation they get while eating it (44%), and the way it engages more than one sense (33%).
- Some people admit to going to extremes to enjoy their little luxuries, including hiding alone in the bathroom (43%) or hiding something to disguise it (32%) from others.
