Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower Peaks

The night skies will see another meteor shower this week. The meteor shower originates from the debris left by Halley's comet.The Eta Aquarids, becomes most active during the first couple of weeks each May. The Aquarids are known for being fast and leaving glowing trails in their wake. The meteor shower began peaking last night and continues that through tomorrow morning and it will last until May 28th. At its peak, as many as 30 meteors will shoot across the sky.
