Starbucks fans, the day you’ve waited for all year is finally here! Today is Red Cup Day, the day the coffee chain gives customers a free reusable holiday cup when they buy a handcrafted holiday beverage.
Here’s what you need to know and how to get your hands on one of the free reusable cups:
- All you have to do is order any size handcrafted holiday drink, either in person at Starbucks, or with mobile and pick-up orders through DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats and the Starbucks app.
- The cups are only available while supplies last and it’s one of Starbucks’ busiest days of the year, so keep that in mind.
- More than a dozen beverages qualify for the giveaway, including holiday drinks that can be “hot, iced or blended.” These include the three new holiday refreshers, the Caramel Brulée Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Salted Pecan Crunch Cold Brew, Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato and Hot Chocolate drinks. - This year’s free cup is made with 95% recycled material and features a red and white ornaments design and the iconic Starbucks mermaid logo.
- Those who score one of the free reusable cups will get a 10-cent discount on their order when they bring the cup back to use and Starbucks Rewards members will also get 25 bonus stars.
