A truck driver believes someone is trying to kill him after he received a package containing a live rattlesnake at a California post office. Elijah Bowles, 60, found the 2-foot serpent hiding in a box marked "fragile," likely mailed from Northern California with cotton balls muffling its rattle. "That's attempted murder, if you ask me," Bowles said, recalling how he pulled over and animal control came to grab the venomous snake.
Meanwhile, Bowles found out this week that an identical box was recently mailed to his home in Florida, and he has informed family members to take it to the cops unopened. “I’m trying to figure out, do I have any enemies?” he said, adding,“I’m not a gangster, “I’m a truck driver.”
