Colorado State’s Corpse Flower Is Getting Ready To Bloom

It’s about to get very stinky at Colorado State University. The school is opening its doors for the first blooming of its corpse flower. The flower, named Cosmo, came to the school’s College of Agricultural Sciences' Conservatory in 2016 and this will be the first bloom. The flower is expected to begin its bloom on Saturday and will fully open within 2 to 3 days afterwards. The plant is called the corpse flower because of its unique and incredibly foul smell.
