Woman Throws Computers During Airport Meltdown

A woman at Mexico City International Airport reached her breaking point yesterday…literally. After multiple attempts to pay for her flight with a credit card, the fraud prevention system reportedly issued a security alert. That’s when the melee went into full effect. María Guadalupe, 56, allegedly hopped on top of the luggage scale at the ticket counter yelling obscenities and demanding a refund for her flight. Soon after, she allegedly slammed four computer monitors and four handheld barcode scanners to the ground, which all seemed to be captured on video. In a statement by the airline Volaris, they said: “ambassadors on-site activated the corresponding security protocol with the support of the airport authority.” Following the incident, Volaris says Auxiliary Police agents placed Guadalupe in custody which noted “a reparation agreement was reached for the damages.”
