Man Robs Bank Because He Was Making A Movie And Needed More Funds

A serial bank robber is telling police in central Florida he needed the money to make a movie.

Nacoe Brown, from Maryland, is accused yesterday of stealing thousands of dollars from the McCoy Federal Credit Union in Belle Isle, just south of Orlando. The FBI is taking over the investigation after Brown told investigators he couldn't resist the demons.

He said he was in town to make a movie and ran out of cash, police said, and that this was the only way he knew how to make money.

Brown previously served 19 years in prison for a series of violent bank robberies.
